About Nigel Lloyd

Nigel Lloyd is Director of Acoustic Services, and has 40 years experience in the Noise Control Industry. He was employed by the Industrial Acoustics Company, Staines, Middlesex as an acoustical consultant and acoustical design engineer and was brought to New Zealand in 1980 by the New Zealand Department of Labour as that Department's first noise control engineer.

Between 1980 and 1985 he advised the Industrial Welfare Division on all matters relating to occupational noise control. He has been a Director of Acousafe since 1985 and in that time has been involved in a wide range of acoustical consultancy including building and mechanical services, occupational noise, marine, road transport, and town planning.
